Two of the industries hardest working artists Geezy Escobar and Mello Oowee teamed up for a new single ‘Block Aboutcha.’ Ohio native, Geezy Escobar has been working in the Atlanta music scene since pre-pandemic breaking major barriers with his music. Signed to the infamous Authentic Empire Music Group, the artist 1st got the attention of the streets with his hit song ‘Cool’ featuring Da Baby. Since then, he has gone on to have an extraordinarily successful track record including several features with 1017’s Foogiano. Geezy is a lyrical creative who will make sure he out does his previous self whenever he drops.
Mello Oowee made a major buzz for himself after winning the AE Indie Festival of 2021 in Atlanta, Georgia. The rapper beat out dozens of other artists who hit the stage and took him a distribution deal, a car, a chain, and a nice sign on bonus. Heavily respected in the streets the Alabama native is for sure one to look out for in the rap game.
The video has a very good storyline to it about love and Hip-Hop. Geezy has a on camera love interest, who is a professional working model. The actress lands a photo shoot with a shady photographer who attempts to slip her a date rape drug and take advantage of her. Not long after Geezy and Mello rescue her while both dropping hard verses on the project!
