Well, the amount of bothered that people are about the release of the latest music from Omeretta the Great is at an all-time high. Over the weekend Omeretta’s latest single went viral after being played on V103 and hitting the social media world. The reason for the instant uproar is her reference in her music to the many rappers reppin the city of Atlanta who are not actually from Atlanta. On the track Omeretta called out several surrounding cities in the area and let it be known that if you were born there then you are in fact not from Atlanta. Many people who saw the video posted on the infamous Instagram page ‘The Shaderoom’ begin tagging rapper Akbar V to respond. With the video already racking up over 100k views on YouTube in under 48 hours, and over 1 million views on her Instagram page, not only did Omeretta gain her flowers she proved that real Hip-Hip does exist in Atlanta. She gave nothing but bars on the track.
Reality star, influencer, entrepreneur, and artist Akbar V has been on the up and up with her career and is turning over a new leaf to highlight her growth and endeavors with her brand. “I heard the song, I love it. If anybody feel offended go in that booth. It is her time; I want to see Omeretta win. ‘She’s an underdog just like me and it’s time for the underdogs to win’”
