Writing is an art that can only be mastered by the creatives. It gives you the skill to tell a story that people can read and hopefully loose themselves in the writer’s words for a period of enjoying vivid imagination or even understanding one’s truth.

There is an old cliché (and a popular film entitled) “I can do bad all by myself.” However, Loraine Trammell, author of “Walking in Faith During a Storm” believes that that cliché should be reworded to “I can do better all by myself”.  With Loraine ‘s favorite scripture being Philippians 4:13 “I can do all things through Christ which strengthened me” it is truly evident that her faith is rooted and grounded in the word of God. Family oriented, spiritually grounded, civic and community oriented, Loraine embodies a spirit of integrity, honesty, and loyalty.

While it takes dedication and time to get to ‘The End’ when writing a book, the success of it all is what keeps people writing. We are pleased to be able to indulge in the works of Loraine Trammel. Her books are titled ‘Walking in Faith During a Storm’, ‘Powerful Faith While Conquering Principalities’ and ‘Appointed Angels’. Her books are filled with inspiring words of encouragement to help empower others in conquering and coping with an ailing issue especially in the Black community, Mental Health Disorder. Enjoy a Q&A with her below and check out her books all available at Amazon @ https://www.amazon.com/Walking-Faith-During-Loraine-Trammell/dp/1304927741/ref=sr_1_1?crid=2TLZFKWTOLF8K&dchild=1&keywords=loraine+trammell&qid=1596065415&sprefix=lorraine+tra%2Caps%2C154&sr=8-1

Loraine has been nominated as one of Atlanta’s Hottest Author’s for 2017. Her book ‘Walking in Faith During A Storm’ was born out of her own painful battle with depression.  Turning her private pain into a public purpose Loraine writes “I was compelled to write this book to encourage someone who is ready to give up in life and feels as though all hope is gone towards life.  Depressed, oppressed and in a mess was the state of mind that I experienced during my time of separation from my husband…….”   It is Loraine’s prayer that even if only one person comes through this devastating illness called depression, then she has done as has been commanded by God.    On a sad note, Loraine’s mother Mary Trammell passed on May 14, 2017 (Mother’s Day).  This is just another storm, though very severe, that she continues to walk through by faith.

Loraine currently resides in Lithonia, Georgia and is the proud mother of three children David Simpson III, 24; Shane Simpson, 22; and Lorriel’ Simpson, 20.
